Lauren grew up in Whatcom County, but married and started her family while living in a 700 square foot cabin in Alaska. Lauren has always had a passion for organization but raising two young girls in a small space-challenged her to think creatively to make the space function for her household. Over the years she renovated and expanded the cabin alongside her husband adding even more usable space. Lauren moved back to Whatcom county in 2018 and fulfilled her dream of running an organizing company by taking over Organized at Last in 2019. She brings a unique vision to the company and has the ability to walk into a room and instantly visualize how to improve the functionality of the space. She listens carefully to clients’ needs and believes in bringing beautiful design into every organized space.
Michelle is a Bellingham native, graduating from Sehome High School and WWU. After 24 years in the classroom, Michelle retired from teaching and joined lifelong friend, Julie Clarke, at Organized At Last. Michelle and her husband, Norm, have remodeled four homes and have recently downsized to a smaller home which required organizational skills such as those taught in Julie’s classes. Michelle likes their home to be calm, comfortable and uncluttered. The Dahl’s have two grown sons, one daughter in law, and an adorable grandson.
Marissa has enjoyed organizing her whole life, she just didn’t realize it until adulthood! She was a messy child, but took pleasure in cleaning and organizing her best friend’s bedroom since they couldn’t play until it was done! As an adult, she had been organizing her friend’s homes for years, but felt aimless in choosing a career after her college graduation from Western in 2015 (B.S. in Psychology). These were fun projects for her, but she didn’t realize you could do it for a living.
One day, after a brainstorming session and a Google search she found Julie Clarke and Organized At Last, and she knew she had to be a part of this amazing mission to help people live emptier, fuller lives! She has a particular love for organizing bedrooms and closets, and she is often the go-to girl for heavy lifting and consignment (she practically lives at Labels!). She loves learning about design from the other women on the team and believes that an organized living space leads to an organized, and peaceful, mind. The feeling of giving another person peace in their home is like no other.”
