Julie Clarke
Professional Organizing Consultant
President, Organized at Last

Julie’s passion for organizing and creating clarity developed as a very young child. Due to her mother’s long-term illness, Julie’s childhood home was a place of chaotic disorder. Feeling as though she was “drowning” in the clutter, Julie decided to take matters into her own hands and began the tedious process of de-cluttering. Through clutter removal, streamlined systems, and time management, Julie finally experienced the freedom of organization and simplicity and thus began her lifelong passion for helping others to do the same.

Julie is a wife and mother of three sons. She holds a BA degree in Home Economics from Western Washington University and is a member of NAPO. She has owned and operated Organized at Last for 14 years and has over 25 years of experience in the field of professional organizing. Julie teaches classes and workshops on a variety of topics related to the subject of organization, and has spoken at many venues around the state sharing her expertise and passion for changing lives through ordering lives.

Julie enjoys every aspect of the organizing business from de-cluttering, sorting, containing, and labeling to basic life simplification. She has a unique talent for creating sustainable systems in any environment that help her clients to maintain clarity and organization in their daily lives. Julie’s passion is driven by seeing lives transformed through the organization process and by helping individuals to experience clarity for the first time ever.

Gen Angle

Professional Organizing Consultant
Organized at Last

Organization has been a survival tool for Gen Angle, a wife and mother of four. Realizing that she and her family flourished in an organized home with smooth running systems, Gen developed a passion for helping other families do the same.

For the past four years, Gen has trained directly under the hands-on guidance of Julie Clarke, President and Founder of Organized at Last with 21 years of experience in the field of professional organizing. During this time, Gen has learned not only how to organize, but more importantly why organization is such an essential element for a less chaotic, more enjoyable life. She feels that well used spaces, highly functioning families, smoothly coordinated schedules, and a life with less physical and emotional clutter are all direct results of a well organized home.

Gen enjoys every aspect of organizing, though making a positive impact in people’s lives is the most rewarding part for her. She has a special aptitude for making sense out of large mounds of random stuff, and is especially gifted at creating order, efficiency and beauty in her client’s kitchens – the heart of the home. Gen also enjoys transforming children’s rooms into functional sanctuaries. Her goal as a professional organizer is to help others experience the peace of mind that comes with a clutter free life.

Laura Thompson
Professional Organizing Consultant

Laura’s family never would have imagined she’d be a professional organizer from the looks of her room growing up.  Although it was often chaotic she loved spending entire Saturdays sorting, cleaning and organizing everything.  It wasn’t until she had her own home and then the addition of children that she began to find and create systems that helped keep life organized on an ongoing basis.  Proof that organization, like many skills, can be learned and she loves to share that with others.

Laura is a new member of the Organized at Last team.  She is a wife, mother of three and holds a Social Work degree from Western Washington University.   Although she is new to the professional organizing business she’s really enjoyed learning from Julie and her vast experience in the field.  Having raised three children, Laura has great compassion for the challenges that come with keeping track of appointments, school events, sports schedules and endless paperwork.  All while trying to make meals, clean dishes,  do laundry, and deal with general cleaning, clutter and often an additional job outside the home as well.  She loves passing on new ideas, tricks she’s learned and implementing sustainable systems that are simple and utilize the help of the children.

Laura loves every aspect of organizing from sorting, to labeling, to getting rid of the excess.   The two-fold approach that Organized at Last offers is very effective – hands on organizing along with classroom education.  Both work hand in hand to create sustainable and functional spaces along with the opportunity to learn new systems and ideas you can implement immediately.  People are more important than things, and an organized space allows you to concentrate on the most important “things” – people.

Nicole Deneui

Administrative Assistant, Professional Organizing Consultant

Nicole is the newest addition to Organized at Last, helping mostly with the administrative side of the business.  She loves living in Bellingham and is a current Business Management major at Western Washington University.  She enjoys singing, songwriting, performing, running, biking, cooking, budget coaching, and hanging out with little kids.

Since she was a young girl, Nicole has always loved organizing everything from her hair accessories and the bathroom drawers at home to her friends’ bedrooms and closets. She even had a friend’s mom call years later down the road to get some linen closet organizing help! While volunteering at a budget boot camp through Love Inc., Julie came as a guest speaker for one of the life skills classes.  Julie’s testimony struck a chord with Nicole and it wasn’t long before they were working on projects together.  Nicole is especially helpful when it comes to the tedious organizing of paperwork or anything computer-related.

While she’s not sure what the future holds, she looks forward to many years of lightening others’ loads and helping people become more organized, applying both her natural organizational instincts and the wonderful tools and processes that she has learned through working with Julie and the girls at Organized at Last.
