Garage and Shed Before and After Photos

  BEFORE ORGANIZED AT LAST

This garage was absolutely packed to the brim with random items. The chaos and disorganization not only made it impossible to find things, but it also led to a very unsanitary situation that invited mold and infestations. The client's vehicle had not been parked in this garage for years.

AFTER ORGANIZED AT LAST

Every item was brought out of the garage and placed in a staging area in the driveway. They were sorted by category, edited and assigned a home which was labeled for easy follow up organizing. Due to the previous condition of this garage, entire suitcases and boxes full of clothing and goods had to be discarded due to mice and insect infestations.

BEFORE ORGANIZED AT LAST

Items in this garage were randomly placed on shelves and the floor. Nothing had its own space or "home", so everything was shoved wherever it would fit. This made locating needed items very difficult and time consuming, and encouraged the family to treat this area of the home as a giant "junk drawer".

AFTER ORGANIZED AT LAST

Every item in this garage was taken out and placed on tarps in the driveway. Items were sorted by category and edited by condition and use. Remaining items were binned and labeled, then put back into the garage and arranged according to frequency of use.

BEFORE ORGANIZED AT LAST

There was no lack of storage containers in this home. There were so many that these products supposedly designed to be used to simplify people's lives had become another part of the clutter. These clients were counseled on product purchasing, encouraged to only buy organizing products that fit their specific needs and lifestyle.

Locating and accessing needed items is now easy in this garage! The creation of "stations" for activities such as biking and gardening will help to keep this system easily sustainable.
