This room was meant to serve as a playroom, but was so cluttered with toys that there was little room to do any actual playing.
AFTER ORGANIZED AT LAST
Unnecessary items were removed, while favorite toys were sorted by category and given "homes" with labels. These actions cleared the room for play and made clean-up after play simple.

Books and dress-up clothes cluttered the floor. No system was in place to keep these items neat after play.

The bookshelf was designated for books and magazines only, then neatly arranged and organized by category and frequency of use.

Child's desk area is cluttered with papers, projects, art and office supplies. Things easily became disorganized because nothing had a "home" to return to.

An armoire not being effectively used in the basement of the home was brought in to store papers, art and office supplies. This eliminated clutter from the desk area and gave the child room to complete homework and projects at her desk.
